The Stamping Process

cobblestone-lookDecorative concrete can be used for all types of projects – driveways, patios, fire pits. You can also apply it to basement floors …. and, of course, to garage floors. Use your imagination as you plan your project and give us a call so we can help provide even more ideas!

Most concrete projects can be completed in a day – providing the weather cooperates with outside projects.

The Decorative Concrete Plan

First we excavate the area we’ll be stamping, using a stone base for maximum durability.

Framing is next, using reinforced wire to prepare for the concrete. Before the concrete is poured, the color is mixed in. It’s then poured, using your chosen color. We use large mats that look like rubber to stamp the concrete and provide the pattern. When the concrete dries, we power wash the area and seal it with non-slip sealer.

Before and after stain is applied during the stamping process.Or … we can use a stain on the finished concrete to apply the color. Here you’ll find a picture of concrete before and after stain is applied.

And voilá! Your project is already a reality!
